REI Gala- Celebrating 45 Years!

This year marks 45 years of Refugee Empowerment International.

The 2024 “Hands Around the World” gala will mark this milestone of 45 years.

45 years of supporting displaced communities to have some normalcy in their lives. Even will be March 1st at the Conrad Tokyo!

You can bring your family, friends, business associates and clients to enjoy a fun evening with delicious food and wine, an auction for items you didn’t know you were looking for and great entertainment!

This year I am running an alcohol free bar in support of the event and one of the projects that REI support DARE - the Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation and Education project on the Thai-Myanmar border.

It will be an evening to inspire you as you learn about the impact that our funding makes for refugee communities and the people that host them.

At the gala we highlight how your donations provide opportunities for the people in the refugee camps to move from dependence to independence.

Hear from team members who visited the projects and met the beneficiaries.
